Dell's Uber Ranting.

Was trying to look for something different other than korean melodrama movies, remembered coming across this golden mind**** movie trailer during the school hours and decided to try it. Storyline for this movie is so wrong but yet original and awesome. Can’t really describe how did this movie even worked out but it was just a mass slaughter among a group of students who were labeled by the government ‘useless fools with no future’. Therefore, the government decides to bring up an act which will make them kill each other until only one survival out of the whole class will be deserved to be let into the society again. The classical music adds on to the dramatic actions and guess what, Yagami Light from Deathnote is inside.

Ratings:

Storyline: 7/10 (Nothing much but massacre i will say. But the originality of it still owns.)

Cast: 7/10 (Some really overacting at parts. =/)

Background Settings: 8/10 (Well they got a island for the whole shoot. LOL)

Overall: 7.5/10

Not bad at all for something different.

I would say that this sequel to the first one is pretty messy. Pretty interesting at the start but gets a bit boring towards the end. =/ But at least it gives a closure to the series i guess. Go ahead and catch it. I’m starting to get lazy to comment on it since its another bunch of students getting killed again. LOL

OMG MY RESULTS. WOW. LOL GG? I do hope that i get into the advanced autocad elective module. But who knows whether I will be chosen with such GPA. T.T And i gotten myself a total of 6 episode series worth of mythbusting mythbusters. Time to rock some myths.

Zombies. Where should i even begin with them? Mindless flesh-eating creatures born from the abomination of humans. Zombie movies have been in production ever since the 1930s. Being an icon of gore and horror, it never fails to attract the likings of youngsters and teenagers (That’s me! ). That’s why i have been a zombie fanatic ever since i was a child (Well i can’t possibly watch a whole zombie movie at that time of my age. I had to watch it with my dad. You know, Kid’s stuff.) But due to a lot of various factors, zombies have really been a boom in everywhere; games, movies, tv series and etc…

Left4Dead, for example, could be the spark of it due to it’s excellent gameplay and development, not forgetting  to mention the gore of it. It seems that you can never go through the NP ourspace room not seeing anyone playing L4D. However, it is just a spetaculation of my own opinion there. No hard feelings. It could be the spark for me. And ever since then, I have started the quest of zombieesszxcvxzcvzcxv……

First thing i found was the immense amount of movies regarding zombies over the past years which i missed due to the censorship in singapore cinemas. However, I have my ways Shaun of the dead and Dawn of the dead became instant favourites of mine. And so in order to sastify my hunger for that genre of movie, I came across 28 weeks later, I am legend, 28 days later and many many more. Then comes to comics and mangas. Awesome marvel zombie and highschool of the dead. Should catch them.

But what really gets me in these zombie thingy are the agony of killing off the people that you know and care for. People like your family, friends or even bystanders that you say hi to. If killing them is the only choice for survival, well I guess that is the best choice since it is the only choice. BUT what will the aftereffects be? Will you be proud that you have actually killed someone that you liked? for your own sake? I guess not. That is what zombie movies are lacking i believe. The consequences. After all the purging of zombies. What will be people become? So paranoid that they only trust themselves? That is what i call ZOMBIE-DRAMA.

Sorry about the long post. Something that i always felt in all zombie movies. It really makes me feel heartwrecking whenever i see these kind of drama. So splendid yet horrifying.

NEVERMIND ABOUT THE RANT. LETS ENJOY A ZOMBIE KILLING ACTION TIMEZZXCZ. AND IT’S NAZI ZOMBIEZZZZ. WEEEEEE.

Cute baby is cute. So far so good. 3 modules are down in my new poly course and its left with 3 more modules; Engineering maths, Thermofluids and AMMP. Haha! I can sense the slacking times coming.

It seems like stuff aren’t really happening for me. Nothing really interesting actually occured. Life seems so routine again. Not that it’s bad, but it is boring. Oh well. Time to catch up with movies i missed. (P.S. BLU-RAY VERSION OF WATCHMEN. HELLL YEAHHHH)

Ever had the experience where you are riding on a bus and you see couples doing intimate actions or maybe just some chit chat. Does that make you feel inferior? Somehow i do. It just makes me wonder, are the couples having fun or are they just trying to make people jealous of them? Which is it? Nevertheless, a usual ignorance always saves the nonsensical thoughts in my mind when i have my MP3 blasted to the MAX. I would just lower my head and enjoy my favorite musics. It could be just me thinking too much or so…

Enough of troubles. Nothing good comes out from a trashtalk on troubles. SOOOOO, I’m still gonna ask. ANYONE HAS ANY NICE INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC TO RECOMMEND ME? TOMMY EMMANUEL IS EITHER TOO OLD OR LAZY FOR NEW SONGS.

WOOOOOO! I slept from 5pm to 3am from yesterday to today!. How awesome is that?!?!?! Not really something productive but i got a huge amount of sleep.

Slept at 3am yesterday trying to finish the EMAT report and in the end, it can be handed in next week. zxczxczxczxczxczcfuckZzcxzcxz. Nvm time to target on AutoCAD and AMMP. PEW PEW! Heeheee

I wonder how, I wonder why. How am i suppose to pass my EMAT test. lalalalala~ Haha Emat test later and im still online. Oh well. Got to blame it on the stupid EMAT elearning report. Nowadays seems so dead. Lucky i went for frisbee training. At least something that i like to play with. Haha! Still… Came back with sores in my hamstring… Got to train more.

OHHHH YAHHH. THERES THERMOFLUID TUTORIAL LATER. AND I DIDN’T FINISH HIS TUTORIAL QUESTIONS! HAHAHAHAHA LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO BE HIRO NAKAMURA ASAP! GG!

Should I say this is a waste of time or should i say this is a new experience? Either way it is never enjoyable when it comes to Maths tutorial. No idea why but i can’t seem to get use to the Online Maths system. Oh well…

Come to think of it. No one will read this or follow up anyway. Oh well. Tired for no reasons. Getting irritated seems so easy nowadays. Sleep can never help. Procrastinate procrastinate procrastinate.

Hell long since i touched this blog. Firstly, I didn’t really have the time for anymore korean movies. Secondly, I ran out of new korean movies to watch. And Thirdly, which is linked to second point is because I’m just pure lazy to post anymore.

Oh well. Maybe i could post some movies that i have watched recently.

Hohoho, What’s more awesome than metals fighting each other? Autobots, Transform! This movie is certainly one of the best when it comes to C.G. Graphics seems so real that makes your eyes wanna pop. Another key factor to this movie is that movie plot. Even though some of my friends said that the plot seems to be lacking in this movie, I reckon that the plot is still quite good. Ancients and stuff. Nothing really bad about it.

Don’t even miss this. Even if you missed the first one.

Ratings:

Storyline: 7/10

Cast: 8/10 (ehhhh. There’s Megan Fox in it. )

Background Settings: 8/10 (Desert Fight. Again!)

Overall: 8/10

This is definitely one of the movies you wanna bring eye masks and ear plug into the cinema. Its gross, frightening, mind-tingling, awesome, loud, scary, shiny, ridiculous and interesting. That roughly sums it all up. A girl getting cursed by an old lady who happens to be an extremely powerful ebbbbbiiiiiilll spirit which is called ‘Lama’. From there on, it is just incident after incident after incident. Blood and Eyes everywhere. Remember to bring some tissue. I used them to stuff my ears to prepare myself from the shock.

Ratings:

Storyline: 6/10 (Not really much storyline.)

Cast: 7/10 (No one i know in particular. But good acting. I guess.)

Background setting: 6/10 (Its mostly the whole face of the actor/actress on the screen)

Overall: 6.5/10

Not too bad for a horror movie. Not the best definitely.

Eh Korea’s martial art performing group JUMP is coming over to Singapore for a performance. Anyone interested to go with me? (Go google them if you’re not sure of them)

Never knew that koreans were such big fans of DC comics eh. Saw this movie at some CD shop and that title somehow attracted me. (It was in the hype of the batman: dark knight movie when i saw this. And since its superman who comes from the same company, no harm trying since i have spare cash. :]) At first, the movie is exactly as what i expected. The main actor is superman helping civilians without powers as there is a piece of kryptonite stuck in his head. But as the movie goes on, it carries a very special message to all the viewers. It shows how people react when they come face to face to disasters. I believe this movie is to give awareness to the viewers that when theres a crisis, they should play their part and actually help the victims rather than just be onlookers. Overall, this movie has quite a mixture of comedy and sadness. Oh by the way, the main actress is jeon ji hyun. ( the main actress from my sassy girl and windstruck ) So why not try it?

I’m freaking bored at home. Usually a good thing for me but i guess i need some fps games. =/

Seems like the Japanese have perfected the formulae for melodrama movies eh? Bumped into this movie when browsing through veoh. Without doubts, they added in their forte into this movie: Technology. Simply speaking, this movie is dangling between a romance and futuristic movie. Even though that it might seem as an inappropriate combination, im surprised that how well the movie turned out. Time travel became a big issue in this movie and the CG (computer graphics) is just awesome (who knows whether they used CG on the main actress, she looked too perfect to me =/). Storyline was fun to follow and it has yet another happy ending. So if anyone has a fetish of having a cyborg as their girlfriend, this will be a  rough guage of what will happen after getting one…

Storyline: 8/10

Cast: 8/10 (if anyone wondered why this ratings for cast always lie between 7 and 9, it’s because i can’t bring myself to lower it after seeing the beautiful actress in the movie…)

Background: 10/10 (Like i said before, AWESOME CG)

Overall: 9/10
